Angus Wright (April 11th, 1934 - July 9th, 2012) was the executive producer of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends from the third to fifth seasons and the first season of Shining Time Station. He was the husband of the show's creator, Britt Allcroft, and also worked on the long running children's show "How!". He retired in 1997 and moved to France in 1998 after falling in love with the locality.

Angus died on July 9th, 2012 at the age of 78.
