Ben Glas (sometimes stylised as Benglas; Sudric for "White River"[1]) is a river which starts at the top of the old Skarloey Railway plateway at Ward Fell. It meets the Hawin Dooiey five kilometres southeast of Glennock and flows down through Crovan's Gate to Balladwail.
A bridge on The Main Line between Kellsthorpe Road and Crovan's Gate crosses this river.
Sir Handel had an accident with George near the river in 1961, just near Cros-ny-Cuirn.
