I Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside is a popular British song written by John A. Glover-Kind in 1907. It was first used in the eighteenth season episode, Thomas the Quarry Engine. In the UK version, it was sung by Ben Small, Keith Wickham, Teresa Gallagher, Matt Wilkinson and Steven Kynman, while in the US version it was sung by Martin Sherman, Keith Wickham, Teresa Gallagher, Glenn Wrage and David Menkin. Toad later sings the song in the nineteenth season episode, Toad and the Whale. Joe Mills performs the song in said episode for both dubs. It was later heard instrumentally in the promotional video, Thomas & Friends in 4-D: Bubbling Boilers on Mr. Bubbles' machine.

Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside
Oh! I do like to be beside the sea!
Oh! I do like to stroll along the Prom, Prom, Prom!
Where the brass bands play:

Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside
Oh! I do like to be beside the sea
When I'm down beside the sea
I'm beside myself with glee

Beside the seaside!
Beside the sea!
