James and the Cheese is a magazine story.
Plot
James is pulling a stopping train when he smells a strong stench of cheese at a country station. The cheese-makers' lorry has broken down, so James' driver lets them put their cheese in the luggage van, much to James' annoyance. James gets the cheese-makers to market on time, but when they come back, there are two cheeses left. Luckily for James, the Fat Controller buys the last two cheeses for himself.
