Pull Together is a short magazine story.
Plot
Mr. Percival is planning a Fun Day where there is to be an egg-and-spoon race, a sack race and something else that he has not decided on yet. Meanwhile, Mighty Mac is standing near the shed. Mighty want to go to the washdown, but Mac does not. The engine lurch backwards and forwards, both determined not to give in. Mr. Percival arrives and tells them to stop, but it also gives him an idea for the Fun Day - a tug-of-war.
