A Hole in One is a magazine story.
Plot
The Fat Controller is playing golf with Bertie's driver, and manages to get a "hole in one". Stephen and Bridget want to play golf, but when the Fat Controller takes them to a "Crazy Golf" they realise that golf is harder than it seems, so the Fat Controller buys them each a toy golf ball and club. Back at Knapford, Bridget shows Thomas how to play, but hits the ball so hard it lands in Thomas' funnel. Thomas forces it out, and Stephen quips that Bridget got a "funnel in one".
