“If you were me, you'd be bad tempered too.”
― Victor to James, Old Victor, magazine story

Victor is an old blue tank engine.

Biography

When he first arrived on Sodor, Victor was collected from the harbour by James, sure that he was bound for scrap. James later dropped him off on a siding, and the following morning he was gone. The engines initially assumed he had been scrapped, until a week later when Henry mentioned that the playground had new equipment that looked like a real engine, which turned out to be a much happier Victor.

Personality

Victor appeared to be a very grumpy engine and would not talk to anyone until it was revealed that he was sure he was going to be scrapped. After settling down in a children's playground this demeanour changed and now he is a very cheerful engine.
