Atari, SA is a video game company. Originally founded as Infogrames, they rebranded as Atari in 2003. Atari only officially published one original Thomas & Friends PC game, that being Thomas Saves the Day and had the rights to previous Thomas PC Games.
They eventually lost their Thomas & Friends game license, possible due to Infogrames' money losses at the time (which meant they had to sell off any franchises and licenses they had the rights too). Despite that, Atari's German branch, Atari Deutschland, published Special Delivery in Germany in 2007 with Mindscape.
